Rob Heaps stars as Ezra in Bravo’s third original scripted series “Imposters.” Ezra is a kind-hearted dreamer who has always craved adventure. His peaceful world is turned upside down when he discovers that his wife Ava conned him into marrying her. Looking to make sense of it all, he sets off on a quest to find her, learning the art of the grift on a mission that might be the adventure he has always longed for.
Heaps is best known for his role on BBC Two’s television movie “Frankenstein and the Vampyre: A Dark and Stormy Night.” He was most recently seen in BBC1’s miniseries adaptation of Agatha Christie’s timeless mystery thriller “And Then There Were None.” He also starred in the second season of ITV’s hit drama series “Home Fires,” as well as BBC2’s “Life in Squares.” Other television credits include “Law & Order: UK,” “What Remains,” “Gothic,” and “Doctors.” On the big screen, Heaps starred in Jane Champion’s “Bright Star” alongside Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish.
Heaps’ extensive theatre credits including notable performances in “While The Sun Shines” (Theatre Royal Bath), “Another Place” (Plymouth Theatre Royal), “King Lear” (Chichester/Brooklyn Academy of Music), “Pride and Prejudice” (Regents Park Theatre), “The Browning Version” / “South Downs” (Chichester/West End), and “Shoot/Get Treasure/Repeat: The Odyssey” (National Theatre).
Heaps resides in London and was trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
